CHAP. 325.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Emily Conklin. February 26, 1904.[[H. R. 4937](/us/bill/58/hr/4937).][[Private, No. 293](/us/pvtl/58/293).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Emily Conklin.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Emily Conklin, widow of James L.
Conklin, late of Company A, Fifth Regiment Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of *Proviso*.Increase to cease on death of child.that she is now receiving: *Provided, however*, That in the event of the death of the helpless child, Cora B. Conklin, on whose account the pension of Emily Conklin is increased, the pension of said Emily Conklin shall continue only at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the date of death of said helpless child.
