CHAP. 290.— An Act To authorize certain changes in the permanent system of highway, District of Columbia. February 1, 1905. [[H. R. 16450](/us/bill/58/hr/16450).] [[Public, No. 36](/us/pl/58/36).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, District of Columbia. Changes authorized in permanent system of highways. That the Commissioners of the District of Columbia are hereby authorized to prepare a new highway plan for that portion of the District of Columbia lying north of the Sheriff road and southeast of the right of way of the Alexandria branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and extending to 629 the District line, under the provisions contained in the Act of Congress Vol. 27, p. 532. approved March second, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, entitled “An Act to provide a permanent system of highways in that part of the District of Columbia lying outside of cities,” and an amendment Vol. 30, p. 519. to said Act, approved June twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight; that upon the completion and recording of said new highway plan it shall take the place of and stand for any previous plan for said portion of the District of Columbia.
