CHAP. 261.— AN ACT Granting an increase of pension to Adolphe Bessie. January 25, 1905.[[S. 5739](/us/bill/58/s/5739).][[Private, No. 236](/us/pvtl/58/236).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Adolphe Bessie. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Adolphe Bessie, late first lieutenant and adjutant, Third Regiment South Carolina Volunteer Infantry (colored), and pay him a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
