CHAP. 248.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Alafair Chastain. January 25, 1905.[[S. 5572](/us/bill/58/s/5572).][[Private, No. 223](/us/pvtl/58/223).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on theAlafair Chastain.Pension increased. pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alafair Chastain, widow of James M.
Chastain, late of Captain Williams’s company, Georgia Mounted Volunteers, and second lieutenant Captain Redding’s company, Florida Mounted Volunteers, Florida Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, January 25, 1905.
