CHAP. 1808.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to establish a code of law for the District of Columbia.” April 28, 1904.[[H. R. 4085](/us/bill/33/hr/4085).][[Public, No. 240](/us/pl/33/240).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, District Columbia Code.Vol. 31, p. 1325, amended. That the following amendment is hereby made to “An Act to establish a code of law for the District of Colombia,” approved March third, nineteen hundred and one:
" “Sec. 833a. Fraudulent disposal of mortgaged personal property.Whoever, being in possession of personal property received upon a written and conditional contract of sale, with intent to 555defraud, sells, conveys, conceals, or aids in concealing the same, or removes the same from the District of Columbia without the consent of the vendor, before performance of the conditions precedent to acquiring the title thereto, shall be punished by a fine of not morePenalty. than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for more than ninety days.
