CHAP. 1806.— An Act For the relief of the heirs and assignees of Thomas Whaley and wife. March 3, 1905.[[H. R. 18939](/us/bill/58/hr/18939).][[Private, No. 1568](/us/pvtl/58/1568).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley.Title to certain property in Vicksburg, Miss., confirmed to heirs of. That the title of the heirs of Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley, his wife, deceased, late of Vicksburg, Mississippi, or such person or persons as by assignment, trans-fer, or conveyance from, through, or under the said Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley, his wife, may have claims thereto, to that certain property in the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi, particularly described Description.as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a post at low-water mark on the east bank of the Mississippi River at the letter “A,” as shown on a plat prepared by Samuel M. Woods, civil engineer and surveyor; thence south seventy-seven and three-fourths degrees east nine chains to a cedar post; thence north twenty-eight degrees east five and fifty-six one-hundredths chains to a post; thence south seventy-seven and three-fourths degrees east two and forty-five one-hundredths chains to a post; thence south ten degrees west eleven chains to a post; thence 2073north seventy-seven and three-fourths degrees west sixteen chains to the bank of said river; thence north thirty-four degrees east six and eighty one-hundredths chains up said river to the place of beginning, Warren County, State of Mississippi, containing ten acres, more or less, the same being the north half of the twenty-acre tract conveyed by H.
R. W. Hill and wife to Thomas Whaley, in record book “W,” pages five hundred and ninety-one and five hundred and ninety-two, be, and the same is hereby, confirmed, respectively, to the heirs of the said Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley, his wife, or to their assignees or grantees, to whom they may have conveyed the same or any part thereof during their lives, according to the rights which the said heirs, assignees, transferees, or grantees may have thereto from, through, or under the said Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley, his wife: *Provided,* *Proviso.*Only United States title confirmed.That this confirmation shall only extend to the relinquishment of any title which the United States may have to said land.
