CHAP. 1640.— AN ACT Granting a pension to Matilda Witt. April 27, 1904.[[H. R. 1045](/us/bill/58/hr/1045).][[Private, No. 1451](/us/pvtl/58/1451).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House ofRepresentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on theMatilda Witt. Pension. pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Matilda Witt, widow of Burgess Witt, late of Captain Campbell’s company, Tennessee Volunteers, Cherokee Indian disturbances, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. Approved, April 27, 1904.
