CHAP. 1607.— An Act Granting to the State of North Dakota six hundred and forty acres of land, embracing the White Stone Hills battlefield and burial ground of soldiers killed in that engagement. April 26, 1904. [[H. R. 10018](/us/bill/58/hr/10018).] [[Public, No. 167](/us/pl/58/167).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, North Dakota. Lands at White Stone Hills granted for a memorial park to. That the following-described land is hereby granted, subject to any prior adverse claims, to the State of North Dakota, to wit:
The southeast quarter of section seven and the southwest quarter of section eight and the northeast quarter of section eighteen and the northwest quarter of section seventeen, all in township one hundred and thirty-one north, of range sixty-five west, to be used for the purpose of a memorial park and burial ground of the soldiers killed at the battle of White Stone Hills, to be inalienable by the State. Approved, April 26, 1904.
