CHAP. 1598.— An Act Correcting the record of Nelson S. Bowdish. March 3, 1905.[[H. R. 15322](/us/bill/58/hr/15322).][[Private, No. 1360](/us/pvtl/58/1360).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Nelson S. Bowdish.Military record corcted. That Nelson S. Bowdish shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a second lieu-tenant of the Forty-third New York Infantry Volunteers on the fifth day of September, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and that the charge of “absent without leave” standing against him upon the records of said regiment shall hereafter be held and considered to be erroneous *Proviso.*No pay, etc.and without effect: *Provided*, That no pay, bounty, or other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
