CHAP. 1584.— AN ACT Granting an increase of pension to Adeline Ballard. April 23, 1904.[[H. R. 9428](/us/bill/58/hr/9428).][[Private, No. 1424](/us/pvtl/58/1424).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Adeline Ballard. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Adeline Ballard, widow of John Ballard, late of Company C, First Regiment North Carolina Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
