CHAP. 1560.— An Act For the relief of R. D. Ashford, of Lockport, Niagara County, New York. March 3, 1905.[[H. R. 10089](/us/bill/58/hr/10089).][[Private, No. 1322](/us/pvtl/58/1322).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theR. D. Ashford.Payment to. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to R. D. Ashford, of Lockport, Niagara County, New York, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four hundred and twenty dollars, that sum being for the rent of three parlors of the American Hotel, at Lockport, New York, and damage to carpets and furniture of said three parlors while they were occupied for post-office purposes at the time of the destruction of the Hodge Opera House, at Lockport, New York, on the morning of January fifth, eighteen hundred and eighty-one, which was then partly occupied under lease by the Post-Office Department as a post-office.
