CHAP. 1473.— An Act To authorize the levying of certain special assessments. March 3, 1905. [[H. R. 18975](/us/bill/58/hr/18975).] [[Public, No. 206](/us/pl/58/206).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Commissioners ofDistrict of Columbia.Levy of special assessments for water service. the District of Columbia are hereby authorized to levy assessments, within one mouth from the passage of this Act, for all water mains and service sewers laid in the District of Columbia within one year prior to April twenty-second, nineteen hundred and four, in eases where assessments for such water mains and sewers were not levied or where the assessments were not made in accordance with existing law; such assessments to be collected as provided by the Act of Congress*Ante*, pp 244.
