CHAP. 1296.— An Act To provide an American register for the steamer Brooklyn. March 1, 1905. [[H. R. 5392](/us/bill/58/hr/5392).] [[Public, No. 117](/us/pl/58/117).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Commissioner of“Brooklyn.”Granted American register. Navigation is hereby authorized and directed to cause the foreign-built steamer Brooklyn, wrecked in Cuban waters and purchased by a citizen of the United States, and now under repair in a shipyard in the United States, to be registered as a vessel of the United States wheneverRestriction. it shall be shown to the Commissioner of Navigation that the repairs made upon said vessel have amounted to three times the purchase price of said vessel.
