CHAP. 1222.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Cynthia A. Conant. April 11, 1904.[[H. R. 10626](/us/bill/58/hr/10626).][[Private, No. 1120](/us/pvtl/58/1120).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Cynthia A. Conant.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Cynthia A.
Conant, widow of John S. Conant, late of Company H, Fourth Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of *Provisos*.To cease on death of child.that she is now receiving: *Provided*, That in the event of the death of Mary J. Conant, helpless and dependent daughter of said John S. Conant, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: Child to receive pension on death of mother.*And provided further*, That in the event of the death of Cynthia A.
Conant, the name of said Mary J. Conant shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the date of death of said Cynthia A. Conant. Approved, April 11, 1904.
