CHAP. 1196.— AN ACT Granting a pension to Kate M. Smith. February 28, 1905.[[S. 5170](/us/bill/58/s/5170).][[Private, No. 1083](/us/pvtl/58/1083).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Kate M. Smith. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Kate M. Smith, widow of Andrew J.
Smith, late captain Company G, One hundred and twenty-second New York Volunteer Infantry, and major and assistant adjutant-general. United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month. Approved, February 28, 1905.
