CHAP. 948.— An Act Granting a deed of quitclaim and release to Lorillard Spencer, his heirs and assigns, of all the right, title, and interest in and to certain land in the city of Newport, Rhode Island. May 31, 1902.[[Private, No. 814](/us/pvtl/57/814).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of WarLorillard Spencer.Granted quitclaim deed to certain land in Newport. R. I. is hereby authorized and directed to execute, acknowledge, and deliver, in the name of the United States of America, a deed of quitclaim and release to Lorillard Spencer, of Newport, Rhode Island, his] heirs and assigns, of all the right, title, and interest which was granted to the United States of America by a deed from Elisha Brown to the United States of America, dated the fifteenth day of November, anno Domini eighteen hundred and eight, and recorded in volume eleven of the Land Evidence of the city of Newport, in the county of Newport, in the State of Rhode Island, at pages eleven and twelve, in and to the land described in said deed, upon the payment by him of the sum of twenty-five dollars.
