CHAP. 852.— An Act Granting a pension to Matthew V. Ellis. May 23, 1902.[[Private, No. 729](/us/pvtl/57/729).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Matthew V. Ellis.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Matthew V. Ellis, late of Captain Townsends company, Georgia Volunteers, Cherokee Indian disturbance, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. Approved, May 23, 1902.
