CHAP. 749.— An Act To establish United States courts at Wilkesboro, North Carolina. February 23, 1903.[[Public, No. 110](/us/pl/34/110).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, United States courts.North Carolina western judicial district.[R. S., secs. 572, 658, pp. 100, 122](/us/rs/s572/s658/p100/p122).Terms at Wilkesboro. That two terms of the circuit and district courts of the United States for the western district of North Carolina shall be held in each and every year in the town of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, beginning, respectively, on the second Monday in July and November, to continue till the business is disposed of.
Sec. 2. That the clerk of the United States circuit and district courtsClerk. at Statesville, North Carolina, shall be the clerk of the United States circuit and district courts at Wilkesboro, and he shall appoint a deputyDeputy clerk. clerk of said court, to reside at Wilkesboro, with the usual power of a deputy clerk in such cases, whose compensation shall be such proportionCompensation. of the fees accruing from business done in said courts at Wilkesboro as shall be fixed by the judge of said district.
