CHAP. 700.— An Act To remove the charge of desertion against David A. Lane. May 3, 1902.[[Private, No. 597](/us/pvtl/57/597).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, David A. Lune.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the military record of David A. Lane, late a member of the Sixteenth Maine Infantry Volunteers and of the First District of Columbia Cavalry Volunteers, and to grant him an honorable discharge as of date September twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, from Company M of*Proviso*.No pay, etc. said First District of Columbia Cavalry Volunteers: *Provided*, That no pay, bounty, or allowances shall be allowed by reason of this Act.
