CHAP. 64.— An Act Removing the charge of desertion from the name of Jacob Bowman. January 9, 1903.[[Private, No. 48](/us/pvtl/57/48).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of WarJacob Bowman.Charge of Desertion removed. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion now borne on the records of the War Department against Jacob Bowman, of Company K, Sixty-third Regiment Indiana Infantry Volunteers, and substitute therefor the words “Discharged December second, eighteen hundred and sixty-two:” *Provided,* That no pay,*Proviso.*No pay, etc. bounty, or other emoluments shall accrue by virtue of this Act.
