CHAP. 625.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Mary Nichols. February 18, 1903.[[Private, No. 525](/us/pvtl/57/525).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Mary Nichols.Pension increased.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary Nichols, widow of Richard Nichols, late of Company F, Twenty-third Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional on account of a minor child of said soldier until such child shall have arrived at the age of sixteen years: *Provided, however*, That in the case of the death of the helpless child, *Proviso.*Increase to cease on death of child.Bennett R.
Nichols, on whose account the pension of Mary Nichols is increased, the pension of said Mary Nichols shall continue only at the rate of eight dollars per month from and after the date of death of said helpless child. Approved, February 18, 1903.
