CHAP. 546.— An Act Authorizing the restoration of the name of Thomas H. Carpenter, late captain, Seventeenth United States Infantry, to the rolls of the Army, and providing that he be placed on the list of retired officers. February 12, 1903.[[Public, No. 84](/us/pl/57/84).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Thomas H. Carpenter.May be appointee! captain of infantry, and retired. That the President of the United States be. and is hereby, authorized to nominate and, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, appoint Thomas H.
Carpenter, late a captain, Seventeenth Infantry, a captain of infantry in the Army of the United States; and when so appointed he shall be 825placed upon the list of retired officers of the Army, unlimited, on account of wounds received in battle from which he is under disability. Approved, February 12, 1903.
