CHAP. 504.— An Act For the relief of Frank J. Burrows. February 6, 1903.[[Private, No. 442](/us/pvtl/57/442).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Frank J. Burrows.Credit in postal accounts. That the Post master-General be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the account of Frank J. Burrows, late postmaster at Williamsport. State of Pennsylvania, to be credited with the sum of four thousand and twenty-two dollars, and that he cause said credit to be certified to the Auditor of the Treasury for the Post-Office Department, being on account of loss of three thousand five hundred dollars in postage stamps and five hundred and twenty-two dollars in postal funds by robbery of said post-office on the thirtieth day of August, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, it appearing that said loss was without fault or negligence Payment to.on the part of said late postmaster.
Ami the said sum of four thousand and twenty-two dollars is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay said claim. Approved, February 6, 1903.
