CHAP. 402.— An Act Providing for an additional district judge in the district of Minnesota. February 4, 1903.[[Public, No. 56](/us/pl/57/56).] *Be it enacted. by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*, That there shall be in theUnited States courts.Minnesota judicial district.Additional district judge authorized.[R. S., sec. 651, p. 93.](/us/rs/s651/p93) district of Minnesota an additional district judge, who shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall possess the same qualifications and have the same power and jurisdiction now prescribed by*Post.* p. 1064. law in respect to the present district judge therein.
Sec. 2. That the senior circuit judge of theDivision of business, etc. eighth circuit, or the resident circuit judge within the district, shall make all necessary orders for the division of business and the assignment of cases for trial in said district. Sec. 3. That this Act shall take effect and be inEffect July 1, 1903. force from and after the first day of July, nineteen hundred and three. Approved, February 4, 1903.
