CHAP. 389.— An Act Granting a pension to Emma Dean Powell. February 2, 1903.[[Private, No. 338](/us/pvtl/57/338).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Emma Dean Powell.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Emma Dean Powell, widow of .John Wesley Powell, ate major. Second Regiment Illinois Volunteer Light Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month. Approved, February 2, 1903.
