CHAP. 232.— An Act For the relief of J. V. Davis. March 20, 1902.[[Private, No. 182](/us/pvtl/57/182).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, J. V. Davis.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to J. V. Davis, superintendent of the Alexandria (Virginia) National Cemetery, the sum of five hundred dollars, out of any moneys in the. Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to reimburse him for personal property destroyed by fire, which loss was incurred in his efforts to save the property of the United States.
