CHAP. 183.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Jennett Stewart. January 13, 1903.[[Private, No. 159](/us/pvtl/57/159).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.*, Jennett Stewart.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jennett Stewart, widow of Alfred Stewart, late of Company L, Seventh Regiment Illinois Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that *Proviso.*Increase to cease on death of child.she is now receiving: *Provided, however,* That in the case of the death of the helpless child, Josephine Stewart, on whose account the pension of Jennett Stewart is increased, the pension of said Jennett Stewart shall continue only at the rate of eight dollars per month from and after the date of death of said helpless child.
