CHAP. 1405.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Caroline A. Hammond. July 1, 1902.[[Private, No. 1153](/us/pvtl/57/1153).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Caroline A. Hantmond.Pension Increased.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Caroline A.
Hammond, widow of William P. Hammond, late of Captain Goodwyn’s company of Alabama Volunteers, Creek Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, the same to be paid to her under the rules of the Pension Bureau as to mode and times of payment, without any deduction or rebate on account of any No deductions.former erroneous payments of pension. Approved, July 1, 1902.
