CHAP. 1317.— An Act To correct the record of John O’Brien. June 28, 1902.[[Private, No. 1120](/us/pvtl/57/1120).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, John O’Brien.Military record corrected. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion now standing on the records against John O’Brien, late private. Company K, Sixth Regiment United States Infantry, and substitute therefor the words “remained absent from his company without propel authority from March third, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, to July fourteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, when he voluntarily returned and was duly enlisted, mustered, and assigned to Company 1, in said regiment, and served faithfully and was honorably discharged”: *Proviso.*No pay, etc. *Provided*, That no pay, bounty, or other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
