CHAP. 1284.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Clara E. Smith. March 3, 1903. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the, name of Clara E. Smith, widow of Robert C. Smith, late of the United States Marine Corps, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: *Provided, however,* That in the case of the death of *Proviso.*Tn crease to cense on death of child.the helpless child.
Henry G. Smith, on whose account the pension of Clara E. Smith is increased, the pension of said Clara E. Smith shall continue only at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the death of said helpless child. Approved, March 3, 1903.
