CHAP. 1040.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to John Smith. June 7, 1902.[[Private, No. 893](/us/pvtl/57/893).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.*, John Smith.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John Smith, late of Company D, Fifth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry, and Troop A, Fifth Regiment United States Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
