CHAP. 9.— An Act Authorizing payment of commutation of ration to the petty officers of the Navy who served on detached duty between March first, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and November fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine. February 7, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the petty officers of the Navy. Commutation of rations allowed certain petty officers. Navy who served on detached duty between March first, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and November fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, be, and hereby are, allowed commutation of ration for the time they so served.
