CHAP. 887.— An Act Authorizing the appointment of James A. Hutton to a captaincy of infantry in the United States Army. March 3, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James A. Hutton.May be appointed captain in Army. That the President be, and is hereby, authorized to nominate and, by and with the advice and 1793 consent of the Senate, to appoint James A. Hutton, late a captain of infantry in the Army of the United States, to the position of captain of infantry, at the foot of the list of captains therein, the list of captains of the infantry arm of the service being increased to that extent until a vacancy shall occur; and all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith are suspended for this purpose only: *Provided*, That said*Proviso.*No pay, etc.
Hutton shall receive no pay or allowances of. any kind for the period between the date of his dismissal and date of his appointment under the provisions of this bill. Approved, March 3, 1901.
