CHAP. 840.— An Act For the relief of William L. Orr. June 6, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the William L. Orr. Payment to. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of the Treasury of the United States, from any money not otherwise appropriated, to William L. Orr, for services rendered by him as acting second assistant engineer in the United States Navy between September fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, and March twenty-first, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, the pay of said rank and service at that time, provided said Orr shall furnish to the Secretary of the Treasury satisfactory proof of his services during said period.
