CHAP. 823.— An Act For the relief of James Kelly. March 2, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That James Kelly shall beJames Kelly.Granted honorable discharge. held and considered to have been mustered into the military service of the United States as a member of Company E, One hundred and eighteenth Regiment Ohio Infantry Volunteers, on the fifteenth day of December, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, as a substitute for and in the place of Joseph V.
Swearingen, and to have been honorably discharged as a member of said company and regiment on the first day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and that the Secretary of War be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the records of said company and regiment accordingly, and to issue to the said Kelly a certificate of honorable discharge as of the said first day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-four: *Provided*, That no pay,*Proviso.*No pay, etc. bounty, or other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act Approved, March 2, 1901.
