CHAP. 823.— An Act For the relief of Mathias Pederson. June 6, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Mathias Pederson. Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to pay to Mathias 1609 Pederson, late of Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of three hundred dollars, being the sum unlawfully collected from him on that date by the board of enrollment, namely, three hundred dollars, to furnish a substitute when drafted for service in the Army, he not being a citizen of the United States.
