CHAP. 723.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Jeremiah Jackson. March 1, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Jeremiah Jackson. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension 1771laws, the name of Jeremiah Jackson. late of Captain Dickerson’s company, North Carolina Volunteers, Cherokee Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, March 1, 1901.
