CHAP. 70.— An Act Granting a pension to John Vars. March 21, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of theJohn Vars.Pension. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to plaice on the 1476pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John Vars, the totally blind son of Frank Vars, late master’s mate on the United States steamer Reliance, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, March 21, 1900.
