CHAP. 690.— An Act For the relief of Francisco V. De Coster. March 1, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That Francisco V. De CosterFrancisco V. De Coster.Entitled to pay, etc., of captain, between July 8, 1863, and August 29, 1864. shall be held and considered to have been mustered into the service of the United States as a captain in the First Battalion of Cavalry, Mississippi Marine Brigade, on the eighth day of July, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, and to have served as such continuously thereafter until he was mustered out of service on the twenty-ninth day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and he shall be entitled to the pay and allowances of a captain of cavalry for the period comprised between said dates: *Provided,* That the pay and allowances actually received by*Proviso.*—deduction. him for the period covered by this bill shall be deducted from the sum otherwise to be paid thereunder.
