CHAP. 589.— An Act To provide for officers in the customs district of Hawaii. May 26, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Hawaii. Customs officers authorized. That there shall be in the customs district of Hawaii one collector, who shall reside at Honolulu, and who shall receive a salary of four thousand dollars per annum, and such deputy collectors and other customs officers as the Secretary of the Treasury shall deem necessary. Approved, May 26, 1900.
