CHAP. 572.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Harriet L. Hughes. May 25, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Harriet L. Hughes. Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Harriet L. Hughes, widow of Chester K. Hughes, late major One hundred and forty-third Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, May 25, 1900.
