CHAP. 56.— An Act Granting a pension to Charles S. Devine. January 14, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Charles S. Devine.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension 1645laws, the name of Charles S. Devine, late first-class pilot in the Mississippi River Squadron, and pay him a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month. Approved, January 14, 1901.
