CHAP. 539.— An Act Granting a pension to Sarah Hastings, formerly Sarah Carter. February 25, 1901. FIFTY-SIXTH CONGRESS. Sess. H. Chs. 537-541. 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Sarah Hastings, formerly Sarah Carter.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sarah Hastings, formerly Sarah Carter, late a nurse in the Medical Department United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 25, 1901.
