CHAP. 297.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Luke P. Allphin. February 7, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Luke P. Allphin.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Luke P. Allphin, late first sergeant Company E, 1693First Illinois Volunteers, in the Mexican war, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, February 7, 1901.
