CHAP. 278.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Ellen C. Abbott. April 23, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Ellen C. Abbott.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roil, subject to the limitations and provisions of the pension laws, the name of Ellen C. Abbott, widow of Joseph C. Abbott, late colonel of the Seventh Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and brevet brigadier-general.
United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, April 23, 1900.
