CHAP. 249.— An Act Granting a pension to Almeda Brown. February 7, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Almeda Brown.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Almeda Brown, widow of James A. Brown, late of Company B, Fifth Regiment New York Volunteer Heavy Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 7, 1901.
