CHAP. 219.— An Act To enable the directors of Providence Hospital to increase the accommodations of that institution. February 6, 1901. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the. United States of America in Congress assembled*, District of Columbia.Providence Hospital authorized to increase accommodations. That for the purpose of obtaining the amount of money necessary to construct additional buildings for hospital purposes on square seven hundred and sixty-four in the City of Washington, District of Columbia, the directors of the Providence Hospital tire hereby authorized to raise by mortgage or other incumbrance on the real estate in said square a sum not to exceed two hundred thousand dollars, which said incumbrance shall be a first lien on said real estate; and the said corporation is hereby authorized to hold real estate in the said square without limitation as to value: *Provided*,*Proviso.* That all proceedings under this Act shall be approved by theApproval.
