CHAP. 147.— An Act Granting a pension to Louisa Stearns. April 2, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Louisa Stearns.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, authorized and instructed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Louisa Stearns, widow of Lewis Stearns, late a private in Company A, Seventh Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month and two dollars per month additional for each of the minor children of the soldier under sixteen years of age.
