CHAP. 13.— An Act To amend section forty-eight hundred and forty-three of the Revised Statutes. February 9, 1900. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section forty-eight Pay Department Army. Admission to the Government Hospital for the Insane authorized of civilian employees. [R. S., sec. 4843, p. 939, amended](/us/rs/s4843/p939). hundred and forty-three of the Revised Statutes be amended by inserting the word “Pay” in line eight after the word “Quartermaster’s,” so that the paragraph will read:
“Second. Civilians employed in the Quartermaster’s, Pay, and Subsistence Departments of the Army who may be, or may hereafter become, insane while in such employment.” Approved, February 9, 1900.
