CHAP. 74.— An Act To permanently locate the capital of the Territory of New Mexico. March 19, 1898. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the city of Santa Fe, inTerritory of New Mexico.Location of capital at Santa Fe. the county of Santa Fe and Territory of New Mexico, shall be and remain the seat of government of the Territory of New Mexico.
